Farm to farm “Fattoria la Piastra”
At 900 meters altitude, from a hill pasture among woods of evergreens, the Fattoria the plate dominates the valley of Lima. For a holiday in nature, and traditions of our area: typical regional cuisine with local products, possibility of hiking and biking, we expect 5 comfortable apartments, spacious and furnished, or our room service at half or full board .
Your holiday in a ‘haven of peace and tranquility where you can walk to’ open air in the meadows and woods and further, to about half an ‘hour of walking in a forest of beech trees where silence reigns and the scents of nature. In winter you can enjoy the beautiful ski slopes of ‘Abetone or Doganaccia or immerse yourself in nature and in the muffled silence of the snow with snowshoes, cross-country skiing or ski mountaineering. Upon your return, you will receive you at our farm.
The apartments “Alba”, “Mezzo dì”, “Sera”, “Castagno” and “Faggio” are available with single and double rooms, living room with kitchenette, bathroom with shower.
The kitchen is home on tradition: you can discover the flavors of our local tradition with plain bread and pasta made by hand with the grain of our production, a very special variety of wheat cultivated for generations. We produce also potatoes and meat.
Our kitchen is available for our guests, and also for visitors, by appointment.
